4th of July

Every year we celebrate the 4th of July by going to the beach! We absolutely love going as a family and spending quality time together as a family, eating wonderful food, relaxing and shopping! We have always gone to Pensacola Beach, FL since I was born. Pensacola is and will always be my favorite vacation spot! I have so many great memories there! But due to the oil and just wanting to try something new this year we decided to go to Tybee Island, Ga. We are very excited!

Saturday we left very early in the morning headed to the beach! Half way we stopped in Macon, Ga at Bass Pro Shop for a bathroom break. Tyler was very good in the car as always and our car was packed to the max! I mean not another thing was going to fit! HA! Once we got there we went to the Condo and started unloading everything. The Condo was nice! We had ordered all our groceries from the http://www.tybeemarketiga.com/ and they had delievered everything and had it all nice and put away!!! I mean everything nice and neat in the refrigerator and organized in the cabinets! It was so nice and saved us hours of grocery shopping! After we all got unpacked Jon gave everyone there gifts from Afghanistan. All was loved!
Saturday night was the Fireworks on Tybee Island! Man we had front row seats from our Condo balcony! They went up right in front of us and man was it a show! We kept thinking it was the finally and then they just kept going! IT was a FANTASTIC Show!!!! What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July!!!

Sunday was the 4th of July, Independence Day! Wow I am so proud to be a American! I am so thankful that we have the freedoms that we do! I am also very proud of the men and women who fight for our freedom everyday, especially my Husband! Our soldiers sacrifice so much for our country to be able to live the way that we do! America is the Home of the Free Because of the Brave!! I am also thankful and my heart goes out to all the families that have had a love one pay the ultimate price for our Freedom! My Family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts! In May I learned what it is feels like to lose a dear sweet friend for the price of Freedom and it hearts your heart but I am so proud of him and very proud of his wife and his family! Brooke you and Kinleigh are in my prayers everyday. You are such a strong military wife and I am proud of you and so sorry for your loss! RIP CPT KYLE COMFORT!
