Wordless Wednesday So since Tyler has not been feeling well we have been doing his favorite things, taking lots of baths! He loves to play in the tub. He has been practing his basketball shooting, swimming with sharks, playing with boats, and choo chooing with Thomas!

So while we were in Gatlinburg Vera Bradley released their new summer colors. They are so pretty! I got to see them in person the day they were released and I really like them. They have a few new products I really like as well! My poor husband! HA! I really am so in love with Vera!

Things I love right now.

1. Suave Clinical ProtectionI have used Secret's Clinical Protection since it came out and I like it but it is not cheap. Several people have mentioned this version and i was questioning it. I got a coupon in the mail and got brave. I like it so much better!!!! It goes on not quite as messy and it is cheaper! So Try it! Its so worth it!! Plus you can get it on Amazon Subscribe and Save!!!!

2. Amazon Mom

This is the best thing ever! I am completely in love and it has saved me tons. I love getting free 2 day shipping on everything. I have ordered a lot. We needed a new monster surge protector since the flood and it was $30 cheaper on amazon! Yes, please and thank you and it arrives today! Seriously if you are a mom/dad or grandma/grandpa go sign up!

3. Amazon Subscribe and Save

I know I have talked about this before but I am in love! You can order almost anything and have it delivered to your house in two days for free if you have Amazon Mom or Amazon Prime! So fantastic. You save 15% with the subscribe and save and 15% more if you are a member of amazon mom. I have toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, beauty products, batteries, k-cups and I am sure I will be adding more!

4. MomAgenda's

I ordered my firsts one last fall and fell in love! I keep my life in this thing! It is so nice to have and you can keep everything in it. I love that it has monthly calendar layouts and weekly calendar layouts. It has slots for 4 children under the weekly calendar so you can keep up with all that you need to for them. I use one for Tyler and one for Jon. When I am throwing a party or event I use one to keep up with all that I need to do on what day. It also has a slot to put what you are making dinner every night. I love having so much room to put everything I need to keep up with.

5. Words with Friends

I have always liked this since I had my phone almost but now my husband finally downloaded it! We sit on the couch beside each other and play against each other and even when he is at work! It is great! In Love!

6. Word World

Thanks to my sister for showing us this when we were down to visit! Tyler is in love even more than Mickey Mouse! He has learned a ton of words from it and has started saying quack quack all the time. The duck is his favorite character. Everything is words and spelled out so they get a great learning opportunity! I love that he will sit and watch it!

7. Baby Magic Patty CakeOkay so Tyler gets diaper rash really easy and they are hard to get rid of. His is not your normal ones most of the time they require prescription creams to get rid of it. I bought this because it has no dust. It is little cotton circles that you use only once and wipe on his little bottom. It has helped. We use it especially after a bath or when he first wakes up. So we do not use it every time but it has helped a good bit. So if your child gets diaper rash pretty easy you should go for it and try it! It works.

Okay so I can not take credit for these at all. My SIL and her fiance have made them for us a few times and I fell in love with them. They got them from a girl in her dorm.

Super Easy Dessert!

Croissants stuffed with Nutella

Ingredients

Can of Big Crescant roll dough

Nutella

Brown Sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Open can and spread out crescant triangles.

Spoon Nutella onto crescants triagle at the straight end.

Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of nutella.

Roll crescant triangles up and place on baking sheet.

Sprinkle tops of crescent rolls with a little brown sugar.

Bake 5-7 minutes.

Normal Life

Okay so I have not blogged like I had hoped to during our month long vacation but I will catch you all up soon! I have lots of fun pics to post! It was a month of adventures.

Monday we drove 5 hours back to Tennessee with a packed car and towing the boat. It was not a bad trip at all other than Tyler was not digging his seat this trip and wanted out! Jon and I were both very excited to see our house and to be home. We have come to realize how much we love our family of 3 and spending time together just us! After unloading the car and letting Tyler run loose Jon decided he needed to cut the grass. So he went and filled up the gas can and cut the front yard.

He was so cute cutting the grass. I have never seen him cut grass before. At Ft. Bragg they had ground crews to do it. At Ft. Huachuca we had no grass, none. Our first house at Ft. Campbell the yard was HUGE and we needed a riding lawn mower, which we did not have so we hired someone. So when we rented this house it came with a push mower and we were very excited. Now we can save money on buying one and on paying someone to come and do it. Today was Jon's first day back at work and boy did we miss him. I would be so happy if my hubby could stay home everyday! HA! Wouldn't that be nice? Oh well, back to reality. He had a good day and got to come home early. He washed his boat, I cleaned in the house some, organized Tyler's closet, pulled things he has outgrown out, then we needed to cut the back yard. So I told him I would do it. Funny thing is I have NEVER cut grass and NEVER had the desire to do so. Our back yard is bigger than I thought. I really enjoyed it though. It is a good workout and leaves you feeling accomplished. Jon used the weed eater and Tyler and Mocha played on the back deck. The saddest thing happened though while we were outside. A government car pulled up to one of neighbors homes and two soldiers dressed in their dress blues got out of the car. Any military person knows what this means and it broke my heart. She was not home, we have never actually seen anyone at the home. The two soldiers came over to ask me about the home and the family residing there. They said they were needed to get in tough with her. My heart broke and tears flowed. I knew what they had to say and they knew I knew. I am so thankful my husband made it home safe and sound and so thankful for all those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice and pray for their families daily.

After coming in and calming down I cooked dinner. I cooked Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin, Stir Fry Vegetables Sauteed, and cheddar biscuits. I also made croissants stuffed with Nutella and brown sugar. It was all so yummy. We all also settled in watching Dancing with the Stars. We had so much fun dancing with Tyler in our house. He loves all the fun, fast paced music! He also likes to be dipped. We have had a pretty good week so far!

Wordless Wednesday: A day at the Park

Monday afternoon we took Tyler to the park to play with the duck, walk around the lake and play on the playground! We had the best time. Tyler wanted to swim in the lake and got in a little trouble when he had a fit because he could not. He also fell in the mud and got muddy knees! Such a boy! He loved the slide an the swings! We all had a great afternoon spending time together!

Recipe Friday

Cinderella's Cheese French Toast

Breakfast, Cinderella's Royal Table, Magic Kingdom

I thought I would post this yummy recipe from Magic Kingdom since we are headed to go see it tomorrow!!!!!

Ingredients

3 Eggs

2 Cups of Milk

1 Tbsp of Milk

3 Tbsp of Baking Powder

6 Tbsp of Sugar

2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
1 Quart Frying Oil

6 Cheese Danish, Cut into quarters

Mix milk, eggs, and vanilla together and set aside. Sift baking powder, sugar, and flour together and add to egg mixture. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

Bring shortening to 375 degrees. Dip Cheese Danish in egg batter and place dipped bread in fryer until golden brown on one side and turn over to brown other side. Roll in Cinnamon/Sugar and serve.

Topping: Saute apple slices in butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
