-Thursday, May 31st a sweet friend of mine gave me a small baby shower for little Walker. It was at a really fun restaurant in town called "The Looking Glass". The food was so yummy and Walker got some fun little gifts as well. I had a chicken salad sandwich and some yummy waffle fries. Meredith was also nice and shared a dessert with me so I could have a small portion and not kill my sugar. They make all the food in house and man it was yummy. Thanks so much Meredith!! Walker and I enjoyed ourselves very much and we are so thankful.
-Monday, June 4th I had another Growth Scan of little Walker. This time I was so excited Jon and Tyler got to go. Jon had not seen Walker since I was 8 weeks. Of course Walker was precious as always. His face is so sweet and he is going to be a big boy. Walker is measuring a week and half early. He was estimated to weigh almost 3.5 pounds. Good thing is his head was normal! THANK GOODNESS!!!!
-We are counting down till block leave. All 3 of us are ready for some time just the 3 of us hanging out and relaxing. We are also so excited to go to the beach also. 12 days at the beach will be AMAZING!!!! We are praying Walker stays put in my tummy and we are so glad Jon can go back and enjoy some time since last year's beach trip he had Malaria. This is one of our favorite places in the world to be and so thankful we can go on a long trip to the beach before Jon deploys.
- I love that Walker's room is coming together. Jon has a few ideas up his sleeve that are going to make this room look so cute! I have to get some of the art made and finish up a few things. I have the letters for his name and nautical scrapbook paper on the way to make it original. Jon is going to hang a paddle on the wall and use twine to hang his name from the paddle. We are also probably this weekend installing the new video camera monitor system in Walker and Tyler's room.
- Jon is so excited that he gets to fish in a fishing tournament this weekend and the next weekend. That man sure does love being on that boat and fishing up a storm.
- In less than 3 months I will have a 3 year old! How is Tyler growing up so fast? His speech is growing more and more every single day! He is really talking up a storm and know almost all of his colors now. He comes to tell us he has on red shoes or blue shoes. I love it! The temper tantrums are getting better too because he is not as frustrated with not being able to tell me what is wrong. Now he can still throw one when he is told no to something he wants to do. Tyler is also a sugar-a-holic. He would eat Popsicles all day long if we would let him.
-End of July we are planning a fishing Birthday party for our big guy! We are doing it early so that daddy can be in attendance and hopefully before baby Walker arrives.

Random Weekend
Friday morning I worked on laundry and some other cleaning. Jon got off around 1 and we headed to Nashville. We needed to return a boat radio and case that was a no good and Jon needed to pick up some things for his two upcoming fishing tournaments. Tyler was so excited when we arrived at the fishy store. We returned our items and did some shopping. After some shopping we headed to the The Aquarium restaurant for some yummy dinner. It was so good and Tyler loved looking at all the fish in the aquarium. After dinner we headed home.

Saturday was clean up Walker's nursery day! We put some stuff away in the attic, Jon got the pack and play down and we made room for it in our bedroom, and I started going through things. Jon and his little helper started putting the bookshelves together and cut up two pallets to go as the backing for the shelf. Walker's room is nautical theme and the wood on the back of the shelf is so cool looking. We only had enough pallets to get on shelf done so we have to collect two more pallets to finish the other one. I also got some of the baby clothes hung up in the closet. We got the old dresser and several bags of stuff taken to the salvation army and managed to run some errands. Jon also put the crib together. Overall we got a lot done even though his room is far from done. At least progress was made.
Sunday we had some more projects that needed to be done but some little boy wanted to go on the boat and his daddy did not want to say no. So Sunday afternoon we got out on the boat for about 5 hours. Daddy caught some fish and even let Tyler reel one in and helped him get the hook off. Tyler held the fish all by his self and throw him back in the Lake. We all had fun times. I got a little burnt because I grabbed the spf 10 for myself instead of the spf 30 sunscreen which I would pay for later that night. After we got back we headed to get Tyler a haircut and swap a shirt Jon got for another size. Tyler looks like such a big boy now. My sugar dropped really low that night and I got really sick. I ate something and laid down in the bed. My sunburn had a fever and I was freezing. I was asleep before 8. Thankfully I woke up this morning feeling much better and most of my sunburn has turned brown.

Lake Barkley
Lake Barkley
Mid April Jon, Tyler and I took off to Lake Barkley to stay for the weekend. We headed up on Friday afternoon with the boat in tow. We had a little incident on the interstate when we were driving up. Jon's center seat of his boat (that was connected) flew out and down the interstate. Poor Hubs! When he got to it a transfer truck had ran over it and it was in a million pieces so no more center seat for now. The rest of the drive went great though. We got checked in and our room was really nice. We were excited! It was kind log cabin looking. Lake Barkley State Park Resort is a great resort to stay at. After unpacking we had dinner at the restaurant located on the resort. It was very good. Tyler enjoyed the fried catfish and sitting by the window staring at the lake. Then we hung out at the room and got Tyler a bath and we all went to bed.
Jon and Tyler got up at 5am to hit the water in the boat. I however slept in. It was great! When I got up and got ready I headed to the restaurant to get some breakfast. I ate by myself and enjoyed the view. It was also nice to look out the window and see Jon and Tyler on the boat fishing. I got breakfast to go for my boys and they picked me up on the dock. They ate on the boat and then we went for a little ride and the boys fished a little more. We stayed till after lunchtime then we put the boat back on the trailer and we drove to Land Between the Lakes to go visit Patty's Settlement. Jon said the food was okay but I thought it was fantastic. The Settlement was really nice. Tyler loved seeing the animals, especially the pigs. We also played on the playground for a while and then we played putt putt. All 3 of us started but I had so many things in my hands it got really hard so I just took pictures and followed the boys around. We also went and looked at all the boats that you can race. Patty's has a lot to do and a little bit for everyone. We then headed back to Paris Landing and the boys did some fishing from the walkway and rocks. Tyler also played on the playground. We had a great day!
Sunday morning the boys got up before the sun again and headed out fishing. After I got up and dressed I text them and they came and met me for breakfast. We all enjoyed the time together. We took the boat out for a few hours before it got so windy we could hardly function. We loaded the boat on the trailer and finished packing and loaded up the truck and headed back to Clarksville. It was a great weekend spending lot of family time together.

Walker's Baby Shower
Walker's Baby Shower
May 5th, 2012 Family and Friends gave me a wonderful little baby shower for little Walker. It was so nice and I got some wonderful things for my new little guy. We also got some gift cards and money to pick up things we need. Walker is pretty much set now we just need some little things and diapers. I was amazed at the wonderful things we received and feel so blessed to have so many people that love us and our family. Here are some pictures even though I did not get very many, so hope you enjoy.
