Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend

Thursday night Jon's parents drove up to Clarksville to spend the weekend with us for Tyler's Birthday party. Jon, Tyler and I have leftovers and played outside while waiting on them. Tyler and Jon feel asleep before they got here but Jon woke up and we chatted for a little while before bed.

Friday morning we had pancakes and sausage for breakfast. It was so yummy and nice to spend time with family. Then we got started on projects for Tyler's party. We also took Tyler outside to play a lot of the day and me and Mary Ann made a grocery store run. My parents headed up that afternoon and we arrived we all had pizza together and then finished up some birthday party projects.

Saturday morning we woke up and it was time to get ready for the party. We got some of the food prepared and then it was football time. I cooked wings and we had the Auburn game on downstairs and the boys were all upstairs watching the Alabama game. Yes we are a split family and yes we get along! My Tigers had a rough game but we got the win so that is what matters. Also Tyler feel asleep before lunch outside in his swing and took a 3 hour nap outside. After the game Jon started making the hamburgers and hot dogs and we started getting everything finalized and ready for when our guest arrived. The party went great! Promise I will blog it very soon. After the party Jon's parents had to leave to get back to Alabama so he could preach on Sunday. We cleaned up the party then watched some more football before going to bed. TS Lee made it's first appearance that night and kept me up most of the night!

Sunday we sat around and talked with my parents and Tyler had fun playing. Late that afternoon mom and dad left and Tyler cried so hard. Poor guy! Jon, Tyler, and I went and roamed the mall for a while then went to Old Chicago for some yummy pizza. It started pouring while in there and we had to do a bee line for the car. We then went home and watched some movies and curled up on the couch together as a family.

Monday morning we had french toast for breakfast and then went on a really long walk through the neighborhood together. After our walk we went back to the mall, then lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then to Books-a-million. We had a great time together. We came home and hung out on the couch the rest of the day.

We had a great weekend! Hope you had a wonderful long weekend as well!
