St. Louis

So we are have our first wedding of the summer this weekend. Jon is a groomsmen in a great friend from ROTC's wedding. He was also stationed at Fort Bragg as well and Jon went to Army Summer camp with his fiance. They are a sweet couple and we are excited to celebrate with them.

Yesterday we got up early and drove up. It was not a bad drive at all. It took us 3 hours and 40 minutes to get to our hotel. Tyler had to have a few incentives the last maybe 20 minutes. We unloaded the truck, unpacked, changed Tyler's diaper and clothes, and meet up with some friends. My husband was dying to go to the Bass Pro Shop! Another shirt to buy! HA! We often have to visit one everywhere around we have been! We also will stop on road trips to visit ones we pass! So after settling in we drove through St. Louis to St. Charles, MO to go take a visit. It was not our favorite store we have ever been to! It is kind of small and does not have a great layout. Tyler loved the fish tank and loved getting in all the boats! He is in love with fish and I have no idea who made him that way! HA!

After Bass Pro we went exploring the city a little. We saw the famous Arch, Busch Stadium, and the Anheuser Busch, Inc. We stop by the factory to see some friends that were doing the tour. That place is HUGE!



Later that night we had dinner with all the wedding party at Square One Brewery.

Today our plans include seeing Union Station and Lunch at Landry's Seafood House! One of our favorite restaurants! Love that place! Then Rehearsal and the Rehearsal Dinner! Hope you have a great Friday!
